I was slightly lazy today, but perfectly okay with it. Went to work, worked out hardcore at the YMCA, ate a healthy lunch, Bible study, Television, then back to work. When I got off work at 6:00, I went and spent some time with George. We talked about how he has been doing lately, and how to gain strength in the Lord. It pretty much came down to, [Love God, Love people, don't mess with the rest]. Then we watched Righteous Kill, which George rented. It was a good movie....well maybe not all that good. They dropped the F BOMB so many times, it almost made you uncomfortable. I love the Lord my God with all my heart. He is God. He is my God, my everything. My reason for existence, my strong point. He is my Father, my helper, my best friend. I talk to Him about everything, my fears, my happiness's, my all.
I leave for Kentucky tomorrow. I will BLOG from the HOTEL when we get to Louisville.

I KNOW THESE MOVIES HAVE RATINGS AND WARNINGS FOR LANGUAGE, NUDITY, ETC ON THEM SO WHY DO YOU AS A PRACTICING AND PREACHING CHRISTIAN WATCH THESE TYPE MOVIES FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT. SURELY YOU COULD FIND SOMETHING MUCH BETTER AND MORE CHRIST LIKE TO WATCH COULDNT YOU? I KNOW IF I FOUND THESE THINGS TO BE OBJECTIONABLE I WOULDN'T SUBJECT MYSELF AND MY FRIENDS THAT I AM TRYING TO SET AN EXAMPLE FOR TO THEM.
This is a really good and valid point, and while I am not in any way justifying watching the movie, this is what I have to say. George, the individual I was watching the movie with was the one who picked it out. When he ran it by me, I was at work and not in a position to check out any of the ratings or opinions of the film. I just remembered that I saw a preview of it a while back and that it looked good. So, if I walked away from the film, I feel as if it would have put me in a position that would have made George feel more awkward than anything else. Again, not justifying it, but I think you have to pick and choose your battles. In this particular case, it would have been stupid for me to walk out.
I understand your position. thanks for your reply. by the way i have a copy of "the little mermaid" if you would like to borrow it next time...lol
NO MORE LITTLE MERMAID!!! There is a little 5 year old girl at childcare who has behavioral issues, and it seems the only thing that will keep her sitting and not misbehaving is when I read "the little mermaid to her." So I will pass on that one, you got "beauty & the beast though?" ;o)
