WINDY GAP

Yes, Windy Gap is the name of the camp I just got back from. It was the camp I took my area Fort Wayne Young Life kids to in North Carolina. I have some pictures to share. I took many, many, many pictures. BUT, these were the ones I wanted to share the most. Check them out.Yes, that's right that is Nicky and he is smiling. We were just about ready to go out for WESTERN night, and he drew on that mustache on himself. Can you believe it?Here are some of the good'ole boys from my cabin. Here is Daniel. We had some really good times this week. I believe God is really working in his life in a big way. I was so proud to have him in my cabin, along with every single other guy that was in there. God just has his children in different places and at different walks in life. Here is the Fort Wayne YOUNG LIFE team of leaders and kids. I got closer to kids, some kids came to know Christ, but every single individual that I have ever spent time with knows that I want to be right next to them no matter where they are Spiritually. That I want to love them and be a part of their life right where they are at. This camp was beautiful, that's for darn sure. God did many, many amazing things this last week.

do you have any concept just how lucky you are to be able to be doing the things you are this summer? am happy you get to go to all these places and have these moments, but geeze wouldn't we all love to be your age and still have no responsibility and get to travel the usa and basically play all summer..lots of people your age are trying to make ends meet and struggling in this economy, and you get to keep playing..make sure you thank god every night for your fortunate situation..any excuse to keep from growing up works huh?

I thank Him all the time. I have found that God honors obedience. As far as the responsibility goes, I have far more on my shoulders than the average 22 year old. And if you call loving high school kids right where they are at, and being willing to get dirty (physically & emotionally) with them, then sure I guess I don't EVER want to grow up.

P.S. You said you were gonna stop reading my BLOG and writing comments. Why do you keep coming back if you get so torn up inside when you read?

thats okay. I am extremely happy. I can really wake up every day and know how blessed I am, in spite of my struggles. I help bring happiness to others, and I can say confidently that life is good!
